Affordable Embedded System Testing

Simbuck Stimulus Generators are designed to stimulate analogue, digital, PWM and CANBUS signals. This enables testing of hardware and software in-situ for effective, preliminary early-stage testing of embedded systems. All Simbuck products can be automated with test scripts – making you regular testing requirements easier to manage.

MEETING THE CHALLENGE

The demand for real time embedded systems of increasing complexity and rapidly changing requirements presents new challenges to engineers with responsibility for development, testing, calibration and validation. For many years now, complex real time embedded systems have been tested using expensive Hardware in the Loop (HiL) systems to simulate the system and hardware.

Simbuck Stimulus Generators enhance the development process in a similar way. Generating multiple signals in parallel, with manual and/or scripted control over those signals, users are afforded the capability to evaluate early and often.

TESTING WITH SIMBUCK

  • Using Simbuck Stimulus signal generators for frequent testing of prototype systems at all stages of development including initial prototypes – results in early discovery of issues thus reducing delays to the intended Marketing launch of the product.
  • Continuous testing of software is made easier using Simbuck Stimulus generators because injecting real signals into a Device Under Test (DUT) invokes real outputs – that are measurable against system expectations.  Highlighting any deviation.
  • Continual short feedback loops improves robustness. This reduces the risk of issues making it into the field by highlighting any deviations from expected outcomes.
  • Simbuck Stimulus Generators can be used immediately for initial early level testing through to final product tests and service evaluations

Our Mission

Our overriding Mission is to provide an ultra-lite HiL product at an affordable price that allows EVERY engineer and Scientist to have effective testing capabilities on his/her desk, no matter the size or type of business.
